Deaths of centenarians, 1900-1908.

This collection consists of two volumes of information on New England residents who lived more than one hundred years. The records were taken from the Boston Daily Advertiser and various other Massachusetts newspapers. They include information about the health, family, and activities of the deceased. Spalding compiled the records for Franklin Pierce Rice (1852-1919), a noted Worcester historian, member of the American Antiquarian Society, and one of the founders of the Worcester Historical Society.
